Cosmoprof Bologna is one of the biggest cosmetics industry events of the year, and they have designed their 2019 event to focus on sustainability. Simon Pitman wrote about this momentous decision last week for Cosmetics Design Europe, stating that “the event organisers note that businesses are showing an increased commitment to becoming eco-sustainable, both in terms of their business operations and their products”. More and more, he says, “manufacturers are being called upon” to demonstrate their initiatives in this area.
At Adelphi, we are proud to have had these concerns at the forefront of our ethos for many years:
Our sister company Pharma Hygiene Products Ltd is championing the use of stainless steel over plastic for process equipment.
Our warehouse harvests rainwater which we recycle for use in cleaning and machine testing.
We have 256 solar panels on our roof, which produce more power than we use.
We have been recognised as outstanding above our peers this year – our eco-friendly production facility, The Friary, won the Environmental Initiative of the Year Award at the PPMA show in September, and it has also seen Adelphi shortlisted for the Sustainable/Ethical Manufacturer Award at the forthcoming Made in the South East Awards.
We are extremely proud of our processes and facilities – to find out more or to see how Adelphi can help your business, please don’t hesitate to call us on +44 (0) 1444 472300, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Congratulations to Cosmoprof Bologna for a fantastic initiative!
