Adelphi Group

FAT, SAT & Training

We provide comprehensive Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to guarantee that your machinery meets your production, safety, and performance requirements before it enters full operation. Our goal is to give you complete confidence in your equipment at every stage of the process.

Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

Before your machinery leaves our manufacturing facilities, it undergoes a full Factory Acceptance Test. Traditionally carried out in person and now often delivered via live video link or pre‑recorded walkthrough, the FAT ensures the equipment meets your agreed specifications.

During the FAT, we verify:

  • Build quality and workmanship
  • Health & safety compliance
  • Functionality and control performance
  • Accuracy and output capability

Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

Once your machinery is installed and commissioned at your facility, we recommend a Site Acceptance Test to confirm everything performs exactly as expected in your real production environment.

The SAT validates:

  • Compatibility with your full product range
  • Performance within your site’s layout and workflow
  • Reliability during live production conditions

This important final step ensures your equipment has survived shipment and integrates seamlessly into your operations and is ready for efficient, safe, and compliant use.

A customised FAT document guides the process and provides a formal record of the testing procedure.

We encourage customers to attend or participate remotely so they can familiarise themselves with their new equipment, ask questions, and meet our expert production technicians.
