[:en]Manufacturers throughout the vaping and oil industries know the importance of investing in the best hardware for the job. From an end-user perspective, high quality vaporiser pens are understood to enhance the user’s experience of your oils, but the process of creating a premium product begins way before this.
Using an automatic or semi-automatic vaping or cannabis oil filling machine (or filling line) can provide many advantages to your business. These include higher levels of precision and less opportunity for human filling errors, greater consistency of fill, less costly product wastage, improved speeds and more. Purchasing the right filling equipment for your vaping oils or tinctures is therefore essential for ensuring that your operations are optimised in a timely and profitable manner.
At Adelphi, these are our top 5 suggestions for considerations when purchasing:
An accurate filler reduces costly product wastage, and ensures consistency of fill. We offer different filling options to suit your requirements. Volumetric filling machines fill your bottles or containers with a precise volume of your liquid product, regardless of what this may visually mean for the appearance of the final fill-level. Alternatively, liquid-level filling machines are designed to fill containers up to a specified level on the container, even if the exact volume of liquid in each bottle is not the same. The Response Volumetric range of filling machines all use the same base filler, which has exceptional accuracy of ± 0.25% (far superior to the industry average of ± 0.1%).
2. Easy cleaning, strip-down and changeover
All the machines in our Response range feature clean, lubricant-free pneumatics, tri-clover hopper connections and a quick-strip design combine to ease
cleaning. The machine can be fully stripped in approximately 5 minutes. Read more about a customer’s experience of the Response Benchtop Filler’s

When formulating medical or recreational products which will be ingested, having a filler that meets or exceeds industry hygiene requirements is crucial. Our Response range was designed to meet pharmaceutical standards. All “wetted” parts which come into contact with your product are manufactured in hygienic 316L grade stainless steel, PTFE and Viton. An all stainless monocoque construction, with curved and sloping surfaces, meets GMP requirements.
4. Flexibility & Growth potential
It is essential to work with a filling machine manufacturer who listens to your needs and can advise you on production growth in the future. The Response range includes a semi-automatic Benchtop Filler, which can be later incorporated into both the Monobloc Filler and the Automation Base, as production demands increase. This means that your initial investment is never rendered obsolete. The Response Automation Base enables the user to automate up to four Adelphi Response Benchtop filling machines without compromising production flexibility. The Benchtop fillers can be taken away at any time and used as stand-alone, semi-automatic fillers. This system therefore provides great production flexibility: a highly adaptable automatic 8-head (up to 100ml fill) filler, can convert to up to four independent semi-automatic benchtop filling machines within just 30 minutes. Our customer LittlePod say that “Adelphi monitored our company growth and recommended machines accordingly, making sure we didn’t overstretch our resources”.

Sustainability considerations are now primary decision-making factors. It is therefore critical to make sure that your filling machine manufacturer takes these issues seriously, as a sustainable supply chain can be a key selling point for your business. Adelphi have had their Sustainability credentials formally recognised three times in the past nine months. We were awarded Ethical/Sustainable Manufacturer of the Year at the Made in the South East Awards, recognised for Environmental Initiative of the Year at the PPMA Awards, and awarded Most Sustainable Packaging & Processing Machinery Manufacturer (UK) at this year’s AI Business Excellence Awards. The winning entries outline our eco-friendly production facility, The Friary, which was completed in October 2017.
