  • Craft Spirits trend is soaring

    July 4, 2018

[:en]Grand View Research enthuses that the global craft spirits market “is expected to witness growth at a rate of 33.4% from 2017 to 2025”. And the reason for this? The “millennial population with considerable purchasing power”, who are “expected to drive the market over the forecast period”.

“‘Millennials’ (born between the 1980s and early 2000s), represent a major demographic section of consumers for the alcoholic beverages industry, as they account for a significant share of the consumers frequently visiting restaurants and pubs”. Grand View Research asserts that they are therefore currently “the most influential buyers of various food and drink items, including craft spirits”.

“Younger millennials who are about to reach the legal drinking age appear to be the highest potential consumer segment for the forecast years. Rising preferences for unconventional drinks by young millennials is expected to boost the demand”.

With the industry on the up, innovative consumers and fledgling companies are looking to tap into the flow of profits by producing their own ranges of craft spirits.

Adelphi are here at every stage of the process. We offer a range of semi-automatic and automatic filling, sealing, capping and labelling machines which improve output and minimise wastage for small craft or artisan businesses, without compromising the quality of their produce. Currently in particular demand from the craft spirits industry are our Response machines, which are hygienic and efficient, and are able to fill a range of liquid viscosities.

For fledgling companies or those just beginning to think about automation, our hand-held or semi-automatic process equipment can help with small to medium batch production runs of varying containers. For those wishing to take the next step, our Response machines are scalable and can be upgraded as your production demands increase, so you don’t have to invest in an entirely new machine each time requirements change.

Adelphi also supply a range of high quality stainless steel process equipment, which includes mixing vessels, buckets, scoops and jugs, to assist with the manufacturing process of craft spirits. All are manufactured from 304 or 316 pharmaceutical grade stainless steel, are batch traceable, and are pit and crevice free to avoid bug traps.
