Our range of hydro-formed flexible hose assemblies are designed to provide leak-tight connections to convey gases under vacuum and positive pressure. In addition, they offer a solution for misalignment, reduce vibration, and absorb thermal expansion.
All our hoses and fittings are 316L grade stainless steel. They are manufactured by hydro-forming, as opposed to the mechanical forming method, in a process which involves water pressure being raised inside a longitudinally welded tube and forced into dies. This method guarantees consistency in the convolution form, eliminates film residue, and is therefore much cleaner and more hygienic.
Before dispatch, all hose assemblies are material tested using X-ray equipment, and tested using a Oerlikon L300i helium mass spectrometer, which reaches a detectable leak rate of 10 ̄⁹ mbar l/sec. This ensures weld integrity and defect-free construction, and guarantees that the high standards required are consistently met. In addition, every pharmaceutical grade hose and fitting is vacuum checked in a sterile cleanroom testing environment, to ensure they adhere to exceptional hygiene standards.
We also offer the benefit of being able to custom-cut the length of your hose to your exact specifications, where many suppliers work from a pre-defined chart. Dependent on hose diameter, working temperatures range from -273°C to +600°C, and internal pressure ranges from 0.2 to 150 bar. The end fittings to our hoses are machined to very fine tolerances and adhere to surface roughness requirements for their mating faces.
