    July 7, 2020

This week, Adelphi employees Nicola Jones and Samantha Oliver accepted promotions to join the Board of Directors for two of the Adelphi Group companies (Pharma Hygiene Products and Adelphi Masterfil, respectively), having been Associate Directors since 2018.

Nicola has been with Adelphi for over 13 years, starting out as a Customer Service Administrator when the company was a third of the size it is today. She has witnessed the substantial growth the company has achieved over the years, including the acquisition of Adelphi Masterfil in 2007 and the positive impact this had on the business. After working up to Internal Sales Manager, she migrated over to the group Marketing Manager a few years ago. In her new position she will continue to oversee the marketing activity for three of the four Adelphi companies, as well as focus on the general management and growth of Adelphi’s process equipment division, Pharma Hygiene Products.

Samantha joined Adelphi in 2012, and has been a key player in the growth of Adelphi Masterfil over the past 8 years. Samantha manages the internal sales team for all three of the engineering companies in the Adelphi Group, and additionally takes care of all the aftersales and spare parts for the machinery ranges. Her unquestionable dedication to Adelphi and it’s wellbeing has led to her worthy promotion to join the board for Adelphi Masterfil.

Adelphi Group Chairman Stephen Holroyd and existing board members for both companies expressed their pleasure to have a strong female presence on board, creating greater diversity in the senior management team for both Pharma Hygiene Products and Adelphi Masterfil. At Adelphi we are proud that women make up 35% of our fantastic team – significantly above the industry average of 29% – and 50% of our Board of Directors are now female.
