Customer loyalty demonstrated by order for third filling line
After the recent successful installation of a second filling line, Adelphi Masterfil has installed yet another line dedicated to filling liquid detergent. The Egyptian contract packer required another filling machine which was identical to their previous line installed by Adelphi Masterfil.
The filling machine is an eight head Masterfil automatic in-line, magnetic flow, flowmeter filling machine, with a 200 litre pressure vessel.
Liquid passes through a magnetic flowmeter located before the filling nozzle, providing an accurate measure of the liquid. Optimum output is achieved by key pad controls and variable filling speeds which can be altered dependant on product type.

The new machine includes a modified CIP system which has also been retro-fitted to the second line allowing even faster changeover times. The new CIP push-on adapter system allows the client to quickly and effectively flush the system without having to change the current bottle set-up too much. The client has to simply push the new CIP adapters over the nozzle tips and lock it into place.
The machine takes liquid directly from a pressure pump into the container to be filled without being measured in a volumetric cylinder. Optional touch-screen programming and the ability to store up to 50 filling profiles, with four fill speeds, has greatly increased the efficiencies on the line throughputs. As a result, this machine is an excellent choice of overseas users, as they encounter fewer problems and less lost time.
The capping machine is a Mastercap single head inline indexing capper with a vibratory bowl feeder to suit the varying cap types used on the line. A host of innovative features provide a versatile, reliable capping operation. Changeovers between cap styles and sizes are made quick and easy by innovative features including, push button height adjustment of capping heads, colour coded change parts and programmable control systems. All of these features allow the end user to minimize downtime, effectively allowing for greater production outputs.
